Ioannis K. Vlachogiannis is a lawyer and has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1974. Mr. Vlachogiannis has extensive experience and specialises in civil and administrative law.

Beyond his long and distinguished career in both advisory and active litigation, marked by numerous significant collaborations, Mr. Vlachogiannis has made notable contributions to public life. For many years, he served as President of the Municipal Council of the city of Athens, as well as Deputy Mayor in various departments of the Municipality of Athens. In 1989 and 1990, he ran as a parliamentary candidate for the New Democracy party in the B’ Athens constituency, and in 1993, he ran again as a candidate in the A’ Athens constituency, also with New Democracy. From 1991 to 1993, he served as President of Zappeion.

He has also participated as a member and chairman in numerous boards, including the Boards of Directors of Athens General Hospital “Laiko” and Nikaia General State Hospital, among other vital roles.
