Vlachogiannis & Partners Law Firm acts as legal counsel to Hill International, in its capacity as the Independent Engineer, in connection with the concession project for the design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance and exploitation of the Northern Road Axis of Crete (BOAK), Chania–Heraklion section, co-financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGeneration EU.
The project, with a total budget of €3.75 billion, involves the development of a 155 km motorway, together with approximately 80 km of ancillary and vertical road network, and includes 43 grade-separated interchanges, 23 tunnels and 89 bridges. The project is one of the most significant infrastructure concession projects currently in progress in Greece and is of strategic importance for connectivity and road safety across Crete.
